Black Walnut

We specialize in steamed, kiln dried, furniture grade American Black Walnut lumber. Missouri is known for having more American Black Walnut timber than any other area in the world. Our timber is sourced in the northern part of the state using responsible and sustainable harvesting practices.

It would be hard to overstate Black Walnut's popularity among woodworkers. Its cooperative working characteristics, coupled with its rich brown coloration puts the wood in a class by itself among hardwoods. The wood also has good dimensional stability, shock resistance, and strength properties.

American black walnut is one of the most popular woods for quality furniture. The dimensional stability, shock resistance, strength properties, and the rich coloration are the reasons behind its popularity.
